The circle of life is a wonderful concept that
kids of all ages should learn and understand. This movie shows perfect
examples of this idea in it's |
| story lines.
From "Hakuna Matata" to "balls of gas burning millions of miles away", The Lion King is a
story of a young cub who must learn the ways of life before he can take over for his
father, the king of Pride Rock. His father's brother, Scar, has a different
plan. Scar wants to kill his brother, Mufasa, and the cub,
Simba, so he can be the
ruler of Pride Rock himself. His plan almost works, killing
Mufasa, butSimba still lives. Scar and his three hyena side
kicks scare Simba off, causing him to blame his father's death on himself.

| good true friends in his two sidekicks Timon and Pumba, and they adopt Simba and
teach him how to Survive. Later, after Scar has let the hyenas take over the
Pridelands, Simba's old best friend from childhood, Nala, runs away looking for
help against Scar |
